The Story of the Girl Undressing in Public (Written by Jae West)

3:34 AM By

As I stepped onto the streets of Piccadilly Circus with white board and markers in one hand and blindfold in the other, I couldn’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of vulnerability at what I was about to do. Observing the members of the public on a casual Sunday lunchtime, oblivious to the fear-ridden chatter that was going on in my head. I’d seen a large number of families and individuals of different cultures in the area and was worried about offending them with exposing my body in the act of freedom that I was about to embark on.

As my clothes fell to the ground and I placed the blindfold over my eyes I could feel a shift of attention and confusion stirring in the air. My heart was racing while all the worst case scenarios were going through my head. I was scared that no one was going to draw a love heart on my body and I was going to be left out there in the open in my underwear on show to be ridiculed.
As the minutes passed it felt like hours. Usually during public experiments we have a couple of people planted in the crowd to act like onlookers and step in if nothing happens, however I knew that Elliot and Pete were the only ones out there and both of them were on camera’s so I really was putting full trust in the public to step up to the plate. All of a sudden I felt one of the pens in my left hand slip out of my grasp. The feeling of the felt pen was on my skin was one of the most overwhelming feelings of relief, gratitude and love that I’ve ever felt. I just burst into tears. I don’t know who that first person was but I am so thankful for their contribution. After that first love heart was drawn it felt like others were liberated to follow suit because soon all the pens were leaving my hands at a rapid pace!
One of the most moving and inspiring moments for me was listening to a Father explain to his children what I was doing. He was acknowledging the fact that everyone should love themselves exactly as they are and appreciate the bodies that they are given. It warmed my heart to know that his children and others would grow up understanding the impact of this global issue and have a feeling of contribution after drawing a love heart on my body. If everyone could know and appreciate how beautiful they are from childhood I think this world would be a very different place.
With the growing prevalence of eating-disorders and self-esteem issues around the world, this public act of self-acceptance aims to get people to question the true relationship that they have to themselves and body-image.
Watch the experiment here
What did the Police say?

The English police were supportive of my decision to stand and simply asked if I had others watching over me in the space for safety concerns. At the end of the experiment, i got dressed and was able to give a hug of thanks.
Where did the idea come from?
Body image and self-acceptance is something that I have always been passionate about endorsing after experiencing an eating disorder myself through high school and my early 20’s. As Richard Bach said ‘we teach best what we most need to learn’, so I believe it is part of my purpose for being here. One night I was watching Amanda Palmer’s TED talk ‘The Art of Asking’ and was truly inspired by her vulnerability and courage. She described how she had stripped naked to allow her fans to draw and write anything they wanted on her. That night as I was going to bed, the idea of linking the vulnerability of nudity with self-esteem issues in a public setting came to mind. Just the thought of looking down at my body and seeing it covered in love hearts from other people brought tears to my eyes. It was a reality check of how harsh we can be on ourselves, we really can be our own worst critics. The unrealistic expectations we place on ourselves can cause us to reject the love that others openly give because of a feeling of unworthiness. I knew this was a global concept that many people could relate to, so putting myself in that situation really was a stand for everyone out there that has been confronted with self-doubt in relation to the way they look.

How to Post Your Website Links in Facebook Groups Without Spam Warning

2:44 AM By

spam facebook without warning
Ever since the Google Panda and Penguin updates, I’ve been busy searching the best alternatives to search engines. Luckily we all have Facebook and other social media websites which drive crazy traffic to your website instantly. There are many techniques in Facebook which allow you to drive instantly traffic within couple of hours. The biggest disadvantage of Facebook is, its growth. Daily millions of webmasters, SEO’s and SMO’s post articles in groups, timelines and friends walls aggressively. This made Facebook to restrict users from spamming the website links within their territory. You might have observed Facebook sending warning messages to slow down your spam activity. This is not a big issue, as I will reveal how you can post thousands of your links in Facebook without spamming.
Post Your Website Links in Facebook Groups Without Spam Warning
Few people argue that Facebook doesn’t send any referral traffic to their websites. The reason behind this is either you are targeting the wrong group or not posting according the niche you are in. Recently I shared a list of 500+ Facebook groups, which contains more than 15 seed niches. These groups are driving massive traffic to my websites, and the best part is I never get a spam report. Check out how you can do the same with a simple technique to play safe.
facebook traffic from groups
The above screenshot is taken from one of our niche site analytics, which drive massive traffic from Facebook groups. If you go through the list of Facebook groups I’ve given, you can observe many group email addresses assigned to individual groups. This is the main source of our spam free posting in Facebook, and it is not mandatory that every group will have one.
So? Will this help in getting massive Facebook traffic to our website without spamming? Well, that’s the whole point. You have to collect as many group email addresses as possible. When you finally get around 50 email addresses, save them anywhere and start following the below simple steps.
Step 1: Create a Gmail account which you don’t care if lost.
Step 2: Create a Facebook account with this Gmail account, and then join as many groups as possible.
Step 3: Wait for approval from all these groups you’ve requested to join.
Step 4: Go to Gmail and compose a mail.
Step 5: Add all the collected email addresses to Recipients and write a small Subject or body.
send facebook groups a mail
Step 6: Now click on Send to push this mail to all the groups you have added above. In this mail, I’m sending a sample mail to 91 Facebook SEO groups.
Note that your post will be posted on only those groups in which you are a member. As soon as click on Send, within 2 seconds your message will be posted in these 91 groups without a spam notice. You can always go back and check the group for conformation. This is how it looks.
posting links in facebook without spammingThis way you can post hundreds of links in more than 500 groups at a time. I bet you will never receive a spam notice or over doing message from Facebook. WHY I WILL NOT VOTE FOR JOJO BINAY

The recent columns of Randy David and Sara Soliven de Guzman in the major dailies give us a pretty good picture of what a Binay presidency would be like -- it will be a disaster. The problem, however, is that the average Filipino does not read or understand their analytical writings. Anyway, I agree with them a hundred percent, not just because I believe in their analysis, but because I had worked directly with Binay in the past and, therefore, have personal knowledge of how he thinks and does things. And it is based on this that I will not vote for him come 2016.

I have known Jojo Binay personally since we were in college at UP Diliman. He was a fraternity brother of one of our neighbors in Area 1 where I grew up. He frequented our neighbor's house and that's how we got to know each other. After college, it was already in 1986 when I saw Binay again, when he was appointed by then President Cory Aquino as acting mayor of Makati and later on as Governor of Metro Manila in a concurrent capacity. Because of my job at the Metro Manila Commission, I got to meet with Binay on a regular basis, often assisting him in his meetings with the Metro Manila mayors and senior officials of national agencies. On many occasions, I had to join him on early morning site inspections and even late evening meetings.

My working relations with Binay took a break when I resigned from government accepted the invitation of the United Nations and worked abroad from 1990 to 2004. When I returned home, we revived our relationship. From 2004 up to a few years ago, my consulting firm, CONCEP, was engaged by Makati City for a number of projects, such as the Makati Pabahay Project, Makati Development Agenda for the 21st Century, the Jupiter Street Urban Renewal Plan, the MACDA Housing Project, the Barangay Rizal Disaster Oriented Urban Redevelopment, and the Makati Poblacion Heritage Conservation Program. In the course of working on these projects, I had to confer with Binay frequently and thus developed a deeper insight on how he thinks and operates as a public official.

It is based on this that I've become convinced that Binay is not the kind of president I would vote for president in 2016. My reasons are as follows:

1. He will befriend you if you can help him achieve his personal objectives, and will not hesitate to dump you when you're no longer useful to him. He is a master of charming people whom he can use to further his personal ambitions. But once they're of no use to him, or don't like to work with him anymore, he will readily get rid of them and fabricate a story on the reasons why.

2. He is a congenital liar. He has perfected the practice of looking you straight in the eye and lie without blinking an eyelash. His political ads project a lie. By claiming that he will do to the country what he did in Makati, he creates an expectation that is intended to mislead people. Common public perception of Makati is that of a first world city -- high rise offices and condos, glitzy malls, beautiful parks and myriad jobs. But that is Ayala's Makati, covering only 6 of the city's total of 33 barangays. He makes people believe that he can transform the whole country into Ayala Makati's likeness. He knows that is not true. He had no hand in Ayala Makati's development, and he knows he cannot replicate this anywhere.

3. He wants to perpetuate people's dependency on him, especially the poor. He doesn't believe in genuine development that uplifts the living and working conditions of the poor. This is reflected in Makati's dole-out approach to urban management, for example, its education and health programs. His political ads project the message that this dole-out system can be replicated throughout the country. He knows that the only reason he can do that in Makati is because the city has the biggest revenue among LGUs, all due to the thousands of the biggest firms located in the Ayala part of the city.

4. He wants complete control over all programs and projects. The programs and projects of Makati city's departments have to be approved by him directly. Thus, in Makati's annual budget, most if not all programs and projects are listed under the Office of the Mayor, and only he can authorize budget releases. Binay also established a system that consolidates the incomes of all of Makati's barangays and directly controls the approval of and budget releases for all barangay projects. But look at the majority of the barangays -- from Kasilawan, Tejeros, Sta. Cruz, Singkamas, Bangkal, Guadalupe Viejo, Pitogo, Pinagkaisahan, Guadalupe Nuevo, all the EMBO barangays, and even his own San Antonio. There is so much poverty in these areas that no amount of dole outs throughout his as well as his wife and son's terms of office have been able to diminish much less eradicate poverty. The incidence of poverty in the premier and richest city in the country is appalling.

5. His pro-poor actions are all for show. He actually loathes the poor. On a number of occasions when we were discussing in private the housing projects for the poor, he used the term "salaula" (Tagalog for "uncouth" or "uncivilized") to describe them. He has perfected the act of conveying his "concern" for the poor by, for example, setting aside time and a percentage of the city's budget for the poor's "KBL" -- kasal (weddings), burol (wakes), and libing (burial). When we were planning the MACDA housing project, he's approach to the issue of relocating the informal settlers was to pay them off without caring where they were to be resettled as long as they vacated the site.

When we proposed a massive workforce development program to include the poor in the productive milieu and benefit from the jobs available in the city, Binay turned it down, criticising it as "small-time." But he did not offer any alternative. It was obvious that he did not want the poor to improve their economic well-being and status. He wants them to be perpetually beholden to and dependent on him, and therefore, under his complete control.

7. His management style is 101% patronage politics. There is absolutely nothing developmental in his system of management. He may have introduced some innovations, but these have been mainly for his and his family's benefit rather than for the good of the people. He criticizes the Aquino administration as being inept, lazy, and slow. But what has he done, as Chairman of the Housing & Urban Development Coordinating Council for the past 5 years, to reduce the housing backlog? What has he done in the barangays of Makati to address poverty? Are the living and working conditions in the poorer barangays any better than before he first became mayor?

When my team and I started consultancy projects in Makati in 2004, its incidence of poverty was higher than the national average. Binay was not alarmed by this and, in fact, seemed to be pleased with it. Perhaps because it meant he could easily manipulate the poor. Today, after almost three decades under the Binays, Makati's overall quality of life, especially in the 27 poorer barangays, isn't much better.

Is this the kind of person who will be our next president? I certainly don't think so.

LOOK: TWO HEADED COBRA FOUND IN YULIN, CHINA

A snake breeder, known as Mr. Huang, was surprised after finding out that one of his female cobra’s gave birth to this bizarre two-headed cobra on his farm in Yulin, Southern China, ten days ago.
A rare bizarre snake cobra with to heads was found in China
Huang said the two-headed mutant cobra is still alive and is steadily growing, even though it does not eat nor’ drink. However, their heads always fight to which direction they are going by trying to eat each other.

Yet, according to China’s People’s Daily Online , both of their heads have its own brain, explaining why they often try to move in opposite directions.

Mr. Huang have already handed the rare species over to the experts at Nanning Zoo in the hopes that it will live longer, both there is no way of knowing if the Chinese-snake will stay alive.
Zookeeper Li Keqi said:
The e has been alive for 10 days now and has been with us for two, during which time it has already changed its skin once. But even though the snake is in a stable condition now, there is no way of telling whether it will be able to live on, as it still does not eat or drink water snake

Is this true or just a hoax?

British holidaymakers were conned out of £2.2m last year through internet-based scams, a report has shown.

5:10 AM By

Criminal groups have targeted online booking firms in order to swindle money from unsuspecting customers.

Many only discover they have been duped when they arrive at their accommodation and find no booking has been made.

The majority of those who had been defrauded paid by methods such as bank transfer or cash with no means of getting their money back.

'High emotional impact'
Travel association ABTA, police and the government's Get Safe Online service have joined forces to urge potential fraud victims to exercise caution when booking a holiday over the internet following the report from the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau.

The report reveals there were 1,569 cases of holiday booking fraud reported to the police's ActionFraud team last year, with one person losing £62,000 in a scam relating to a bogus timeshare scheme.

A third of victims said the fraud had a substantial impact on their health as well as their financial wellbeing and 167 victims said the impact of the crime was so severe they needed medical treatment.
Mark Tanzer, ABTA chief executive, said: "Holiday fraud is a particularly distressing form of fraud as the loss to the victim is not just financial but it can also have a high emotional impact.

"Many victims are unable to get away on a long-awaited holiday or visit to loved ones and the financial loss is accompanied by a personal loss."

Vigilance needed
Those most commonly targeted are aged 30-49, with spikes of reported fraud in the summer months and in December.

Only a small proportion of those who were defrauded paid by credit or debit card, where some form of redress is available.

The most common types relate to fake plane tickets, hacking accounts, bogus adverts online, and websites.
Sports and religious trips have often been particularly targeted because of the limited availability of accommodation and tickets and consequent higher prices, according to the study.

"He started to accept bookings and was actually quite abusive"
Philippa Farrow, who rents out her house in Umbria, Italy, said its not just customers who can suffer.

She explained that scammers often initiate contact with home owners, asking them "plausible questions" about matters such as availability.
"The scammer who caught me did this and then sent me a document with a list of the party's names which I unwittingly opened," said Miss Farrow, from Oxford.

"This enabled him to hack into my email account and set up a filter so all enquiries from the websites my property was listed on were diverted to his email account.

"He then started to accept bookings and was actually quite abusive to the people he was corresponding with.

"It was only because I was able to see the conversation trail that I could catch him out - just before he was about to get two large deposits worth thousands from the US and Australia."

Miss Farrow, who contacted the customers involved to warn them what was happening, added: "I don't think I lost credibility but it is worrying what happened."
line

In 2014 the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and World Cup in Brazil were targeted, with numerous people having paid for non-existent accommodation or tickets.

In another case, a family travelled for five hours for a week-long break in Cornwall - at a cost of £1,500 - only to find the website had been hacked and the bank details altered, meaning they were unable to use the accommodation or retrieve the money.
Detective Chief Superintendent Dave Clark, the City of London Police head of economic crime, said: "The nature and scale of holiday fraud means police action alone can only be part of the solution to this problem.

"Online shoppers must be vigilant and conduct all the necessary checks before booking a break to ensure the conmen are kept at bay."

How Canadians Are Getting The Brand New iPhone 6 For Only $1

4:49 AM By

If you live in Canada and want the brand new iPhone 6, then this may be the most exciting article you'll ever read.
Here's the deal: Apple Inc (NASDAQ: AAPL) is giving away brand new 64 GB iPhone 6's to Canadian citizens for $1. Yes you read that right- one dollar.
As part of a special promotion, Apple is working with its trusted distribution partner, RockyFroggy for, giving away iPhone 6's that cost 99% off regular retail price.
Why are they offering this crazy promotion? Director of Marketing, Joel Branson explains, "Last year, Apple's Canadian market share dropped to 35% and is losing to Google's Android worldwide. Apple can recapture Canadian users by giving away extremely low-priced iPhones to people and converting them into repeat Apple customers who will spread the world to their friends"
Sounds too good to be true? That's what 29 year-old Richard Watkinson of Perth thought too. He decided to give it a shot and received his $1 iPhone 6 in the mail a couple of days later.
dan tran 660.jpg
Richard explains, "At first, I thought this was just another internet scam, but then I did some research and saw that RockyFroggy is a legitmate promotions company and Apple partner. I decided to risk the $1. It's less than the cup of a coffee anyways. 3 days later, I check my mail and am delighted to see a shiny new box with an Apple logo on it."
Apparently this "practically free" promotional tactic is common practice among big companies with big marketing budgets. For instance, Burger King launched a similar campaign in 2013, giving away 20,000 free Whoppers on Facebook.
Here's how to claim your iPhone 6 for $1:
2. Fill out your email address and pay $1
During this special promotion, you'll also receive a free iPod shuffle. Your product will be shipped immediately (they even cover the shipping fee), and you'll receive it in 3-5 days.
So you can get an iPhone 6 for incredibly cheap. But is the new iPhone 6 really the best smartphone on the market?
Our review department compared the iPhone 6 to many other phones and this is what we concluded that compared to previous iPhone versions and Android models, the iPhone 6 ranks #1 in call quality, battery life, screen resolution, speed and message delivery.
In short, it's the best, most reliable phone currently on the market. Combined with the fact you can get one for only $1, the choice is a no brainer.
Update (16 8, 2015):
Our team thought this iPhone 6 promotion was too good to be true, so we ordered one over the weekend and received it yesterday morning!

We thought this special offer was too good to be true, so we ordered an iPhone 6 over the weekend and received it yesterday morning!
UPDATE: Apple's $1 iPhone promotion ends midnight on 16 8, 2015. As of today, there are less than 100 products remaining in stock. After midnight, you won't find a 64GB iPhone 6 for cheaper than $299 so act fast and take advantage of this incredible deal.

Admit pork still exists in budget, government urged

Malacañang should admit pork barrel-type funds still exist in the national budget, both this year’s and 2016, especially if none of these are being used for illegal purposes, Sen. Sergio Osmeña III said yesterday.
Osmeña scoffed at Malacañang’s definition of “pork,” which basically relates to post-enactment intervention by legislators in the General Appropriations Act.
“They have the narrowest definition of pork so they can say with a clear conscience, no, there is no pork in there,” he said.
Osmeña, however, pointed out the universal definition of pork – the identification of programs and projects by legislators that would benefit their respective districts or constituencies.
“Of course it is our job to legislate and we can add new items in the budget that the entire body feels must be added. But in this case, it is specifically for my district only,” he said.
Osmeña said the pork barrel fund system is not illegal and is in fact, done all over the world.
He said Malacañang should have no reason to deny the presence of pork in the budget if it has nothing to hide and could explain all the details.
“Every budget has pork. From now, long until we’re dead and our great grandchildren, there will be pork. Otherwise we’ll never get anything through Congress,” he said.
“It is legal pork. What is illegal is stealing. That is when fraud or plunder takes place. It was the stealing of the PDAF (Priority Development Assistance Fund) that was illegal. It was not the PDAF, that’s not illegal,” he added.
Osmeña said all legislators are still given specific amounts that they could allocate for their pet programs or projects before the proposed national budgets are tackled.
By coming out with the details of these appropriations, Osmeña said the public would be able to determine if these were for valid purposes or “it was done to please a congressman or congressmen or a senator or senators.”
Osmeña said he would leave the identification of the questionable allocations this year and the proposed 2016 national budget to the militants in the House of Representatives and former senator Panfilo Lacson because he does not have the time to go over the measure.
“Let them do the work,” he said.
Lacson earlier disclosed the government has about P500 billion or more in unspent funds, mostly or partly attributing such to underspending.
Lacson also revealed irregularities within the financial report of some government agencies.
Militant lawmakers in the House revealed the supposed congressional insertions in various agencies – like the departments of national defense, energy and social welfare and development – but it bore “no details” in the proposed budget submitted to Congress.
Bayan Muna party-list Rep. Neri Colmenares said there is around P145 billion in pork barrel funds in next year’s budget.
This can be broken down from the P97.4-billion lump sum in the special purpose fund – which is discretionary in nature and therefore vulnerable to abuse by lawmakers – and another P50 billion was spread among various departments in the bureaucracy, he said.
Lacson on Wednesday said he had sufficient evidence  to prove the Aquino administration has revived the pork barrel in the 2015 budget.
Lacson, however, said they have yet to formally file a petition in court as more evidence is collated indicating violation of the General Appropriations Act of 2015 by the apparent revival of the PDAF.
“I think we have a solid case (on the violation of the 2015 GAA). We have clear evidence that PDAF has been revived,” Lacson told a gathering of anti-pork barrel groups at Golf and Country Club in Pasig City.
“More evidence is coming in. We will devise a way to make systematic the filing of the case in court,” he said.
Lacson said a petition to stop the violation of the 2015 GAA will soon be filed. He said they already have a draft of the petition.

A mother delivers her baby on car

8:00 AM By

This video of childbirth goes viral after it's posted on Youtube on Thursday. It shows a 4-minute video of a woman giving birth to her baby in the passenger seat of a car while being rushed to the hospital.

The man who filmed the video was believed to be her husband and the father of the baby. He took this video as they drove down the highway towards the Bay Area Birth Center.

The video posted on Youtube was entitled "We've been driving for 45 minutes. Already" gained over millions of views in just three days.

10 minutes away from the Bay Area Birthing Center in Pasadena, Texas, the mother's water broke. She screamed several times and realized that the baby's head was coming out. She took down her pants so she could pull out the baby. Then after some minutes, a 10-pound-baby boy was born. The man then gave the woman a high five, saying that 'They did it'. The man came out in the car astonished and didn't know what to do.

This couple already had their first two children, both daughters aged two and one. They were also birthed at the Bay Area Birth Center. And this baby born in their car is their third child.

This Man Asks Money On The Subway. You'll Be Surprised How Much He Earns!

6:10 AM By

Most people easily pity that beggar who asks alms to fill their stomach with a nice meal. Passerby often gives them some change, what they don't know is that the little things and the little amount they are giving is actually a big help!

Photos of this Chinese has been circulating online, are you wondering why?

This beggar in Beijing can now be lined up next to the Managers, Lawyers, and Doctors because of the money he earns every day.

At first, most people couldn't believe his story, but it's indeed true. This beggar just sits along the subway asking for alms and earns up to 10,000 Yuan on a regular day, while earning double during the holidays.

The Chinese beggar couldn't count his earnings alone that's why he always asks for the two post office employees to help him count his earnings before depositing it in the bank.
You can't deny the fact that knowing all of these things really impressed you. Wait till you find out where he uses his money.

This Chinese man has no degree of his own, has no fancy suit and no stable job yet he was able to build a two-storey house for his family and for another shocking fact, this man was able to bring his kids to college.

He's probably the most determined man on earth considering the fact that he lets himself ask for alms just to send his child to college.
