Hanna affects nearly 4,000 people in 3 regions
Nearly 4,000 people have been reported affected by Typhoon Hanna (international name Soudelor) in Visayas and Mindanao.
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said in its 11 a.m. report that a total of 923 families or 3,843 people were affected by the cyclone in Western Visayas, Central Visayas and Soccsksargen.
Of the affected population in the three regions, 245 families or 1,100 people were staying in evacution centers.
Meanwhile, a total of 478 passengers, 45 vessels, 88 motorbancas, and 20 rolling cargoes remained stranded in seaports in Bicol and Western, Central and Eastern Visayas.
Meanwhile, Cebu Pacific and PAL Express have also canceled 18 domestic and international flights due to the typhoon.

The NDRRMC said it continues to closely coordinate with its provincial arm in Batanes and it remains on blue alert in the Cordillera Administrative Region.
In its latest bulletin, weather bureau PAGASA the eye of the typhoon was estimated at 415 kilometers north northwest of Itbayat, Batanes.
In PAGASA's 10 a.m. bulletin, the typhoon was packing maximum sustained winds of 150 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 185 kph.
It was moving northwest at 20 kph and was expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Sunday morning.
